At RHF we understand that Children are healthiest when they are allowed to just be children. We restrain from using mature music with questionable lyrics. Our syllabus, class flow etc is planned according to the age of the students.
Having crowded dance classes is less than ideal for several reasons. At RHF we make sure that the students have enough space to move without bumping into each other and the instructor can provide personal care and attention to each student.

Jazz Funk (Age 8+)
Jazz Funk is an undeniably powerful way of self-expression and helps let go of inhibitions. Jazz Funk is a dynamic blend of Hip Hop and Jazz technique. Choreographies have often highly syncopated musicality and intricate movement.
Benefits of Jazz Dance Classes for Children
As your child progresses through their first round of jazz and dance classes, you might notice that they have an improved sense of coordination. Routines will challenge their upper and lower body to parallel and contrast each other in different ways, which might be a bit awkward for them at first, but will ultimately result in better coordination—an improvement that can be reflected in their everyday life.
Incredible Cardio Workout
Jazz dance moves are often fast-paced, and require significant physical efforts from students. This genre is aerobic in nature, which means that it’ll help your child develop stronger bones muscles, and increase their physical stamina. During classes, they’ll be on the floor for extended periods of time, so you can count on them getting their heart rate up!

Contemporary (Age 8+)
Contemporary dance is a popular form of dance which developed during the 20th century and has since grown to become one of the most dominant performance genres throughout the world. It tends to utilize both the strong and controlled legwork of ballet and modern dance’s stress on the torso, and also employs contact-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristic of modern dance. Unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed, and direction are often used, as well.
